These figures measure different things: donated tokens, revenue per Bit and recognised platform revenue. They are not an equal-budget comparison of a viewer’s total spending. Compare the complete route, including purchase, network, conversion and payment-processing costs.

What does a viewer pay for 100 Bits?
There is no single verified average across purchase routes. The Dutch iOS listing shows 95 Bits for €1.99 (checked 15 October 2026). Cheering 100 Bits provides US$1 in creator revenue under Twitch’s published Partner rate.
Worked example: if a viewer’s checkout offers 95 Bits for €2.25, the same unit price is about €2.37 per 100 Bits. Cheering 95 Bits provides US$0.95. The €2.25 offer is a viewer-reported illustration, not an independently verified current checkout price. Euro spending and US-dollar revenue cannot be compared as the same currency.

Open your creator setup.
Start in the STEN app and sign in with Twitch. Follow the receiving-wallet setup for your SOL and STEN donations.

Style and test your overlay.
Add your private overlay URL as an OBS browser source. Choose your theme and alert media, then send a test alert.

Share your donation link.
Give viewers your creator-specific link. They choose SOL or STEN, review the request in their wallet and approve it there.
No mandatory STEN purchase for viewers donating SOL. Your overlay must be active for alerts to appear.

STEN facilitates the donation and alert workflow. The viewer approves the payment in their own wallet.
Our software prepares an unsigned proposal. Phantom or Solflare signs and submits after approval, according to the team’s implementation. Solana processes the transfers; STEN uses confirmation for the alert. The full donation does not first enter a STEN holding wallet.

It is STEN’s standard platform share for the donation and alert service. If a viewer donates 1 SOL, the standard split is 0.97 SOL for the streamer and 0.03 SOL for STEN, before separate costs.

Solana network fees are paid in SOL, even when donating STEN. A new token account may need an additional storage balance. Buying, exchanging or selling crypto through an external provider can add fees. Token value can change; 97% of tokens is not a guaranteed euro payout.
What can be checked on Solana?
A confirmed on-chain transfer can be checked in an explorer using its transaction signature. Public transfer details and any on-chain message remain visible. This does not make every user’s identity or every part of the software public.

No. STEN is an additional wallet-based donation route. Keep the options your viewers prefer. STEN does not provide Twitch’s native Bits, Cheermotes or Bit Badges.
Do my viewers have to buy STEN?
No. They can donate SOL or STEN. Both routes need a compatible Solana wallet and enough SOL for network costs. STEN is not a card or Apple Pay checkout.
Can I make the alerts fit my stream?
The creator setup provides overlay themes and alert media. Add the overlay to your broadcast and test it before sharing your link. Your active overlay displays the alert after the relevant confirmation.
Is this an official Twitch or wallet product?
STEN is an independent project. Twitch sign-in and the use of Phantom or Solflare do not imply sponsorship, certification or endorsement.
